Out Way National Duals

The first annual Out Way National Duals tournament was a huge success!

TEAMS FROM ALL OVER THE NATION CAME TO SHOW OUT

August 28, 2021 (Noblesville, IN)

Wright Way Wrestling paired up with Indiana Outlaws to bring Out Way National Duals to Noblesville, Indiana. It was a huge success!

Twenty-three teams—a mix of clubs and free agent teams—filled the 5,000 sq ft facility to compete in the two-day tournament.

Teams from all over the nation came to show out, including Tennessee, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Indiana. Early weigh-ins start on Friday evening, wrestling began early Saturday, and went through the afternoon on Sunday. The entire event ran smoothly and stayed on time the whole weekend.

The top three teams in each division were rewarded, see below. Each member of the team received a flag and the coach received a large banner.

To enhance the experience even more we were able to get a great group of vendors and merchandise tables.

I was very impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of Brandon’s staff. It ran smoothly without any hitches. I highly recommend teams/individuals signing up to wrestle at a WWW tournament

A WORD FROM COACH WRIGHT

“Wright Way wants to give a big thank you to the vendors. They made the tournament even more of an event-like atmosphere and we were so grateful to have them. Next year we hope to double the number of vendors for our guests.

To all the teams who committed and showed up, thank you. We can’t thank OutLaws of Indiana enough for the collaboration to create such a successful event. We plan to make this an annual event with more than just wrestling in the years to come.

We also want to highlight some of our Wright way boys from the tournament who went undefeated Parker Reynolds and Miguel Ruiz and Livid Rodriguez. Even though the middle school squad took a beat down, and the HS team finished 5th place the boys had fun and learned a lot. These boys developed a strong bond with one another even though they were from different clubs and states. But that is the beauty of the sport and our mission in trying to unite one another. They are creating everlasting friendships and gaining valuable experience on the mat it’s not always about winning it sometimes can be about learning and having fun. So because of this, we must be doing something Wright.

SPONSORS AND VENDORS

A special thanks to all of the Sponsors and Vendors that made this tournament special.

Jacks Donuts was so gracious to provide a large variety of donuts for our volunteers to have breakfast, and Jockamo Pizza provided a large variety of pizza for our volunteers to have lunch. We also want to give a huge shout-out to Melanin Beauty, Beyond HR Solutions, and GHGC Home Improvement for donating to the success of the tournament.

We were excited to have Crossface Gear as an addition to our tournament. They brought an abundance of wrestling-related gear such as singlets, shorts, customized headgear, and other little nicknacks to keep wrestlers and siblings busy during downtimes in between matches.

We were also happy to welcome vendors from Indy Sea Moss selling their fresh homemade sea moss, Stacy Brown with Face Painting for the kiddos, and D1 Training, our partners that are known for their state-of-the-art sports performing facility.
